Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business

Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business creates space for collaboration, innovation and student success.
The Spears School of Business serves more than 5,000 students from 44 states and 59 countries, offering a wide range of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs. To support its growing academic community, Oklahoma State University developed a new home for the college on its Stillwater campus.
Anchoring the facility is the Chesapeake Energy Business Student Success Center, supporting students’ academic and professional goals throughout their time at Spears. Designed to foster collaboration and innovation, the building includes 13 classrooms – five of which have seating for 50-80, 12 team rooms and two auditoriums for seating of 150 and 300. The facility also includes four labs and over 150 offices and support spaces for faculty, staff and students.
Meeting spaces and incubators are integrated throughout the building to encourage entrepreneurship, hands-on learning and cross-disciplinary exchange among faculty and students. The building also features a student organization room, a graduate student lounge, a coffee shop and a naturally lit atrium that serves as a flexible event and gathering space.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for the 147,450 square foot, four-story facility.
