Part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, The Barfield is a luxury hotel that embodies the heritage and culture of the Texas Panhandle. Perfectly positioned in the heart of downtown, The Barfield is Amarillo’s first luxury boutique hotel. This newly reborn establishment treats both travelers and locals to timeless elegance and classic cattle-culture charm.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for the adaptive reuse of the 10-story office building built in 1926 into a boutique hotel. Each of the 112 rooms features custom-designed furnishings and luxurious finishes. Amenities of the pet-friendly hotel include 2,500 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness center, and an upscale restaurant, Toscana’s Italian Steakhouse, and a speakeasy-style bar, Paramount Recreation Club.
