A partnership between the Cherokee Nation and MidAmerica Industrial Park brings a state-of-the-art child development center to the heart of the community.

Located within MidAmerica Industrial Park, east of ‘The District,’ the 38,000 square foot facility supports early childhood education for up to 150 children across two programs, including Head Start and Early Head Start. The center features 15 classrooms designed for age-appropriate learning and flexibility, two kitchens to support daily nutrition needs, a FEMA-rated safe room, secure entrances, and nature-themed playgrounds. A small gross motor skills room encourages physical development and imaginative play, while thoughtfully designed spaces balance safety, functionality, and a nurturing environment.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services, along with topographic surveying, to support the creation of this modern, flexible facility. The project reflects a strong collaboration between the Cherokee Nation, MidAmerica Industrial Park, and the Pryor community, expanding childcare capacity and creating a landmark resource for families and educators.
