Chi Omega | Tau Beta Chapter House

Chi Omega’s new sorority house blends functionality with welcoming spaces for Oklahoma State University members.
Founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega is the world’s largest women’s fraternal organization. With more than 402,000 initiates, 181 collegiate chapters and 248 alumnae chapters across the country, the sorority has established a proud tradition of promoting leadership, personal growth, and a lifelong sense of community among its members.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for the sorority house. This three-story, 26,000 square foot residence was designed to be both welcoming and functional, offering a variety of spaces that support daily living, collaboration and connection. The first floor features comfortable living areas, dedicated meeting and study rooms, a commercial-grade kitchen and a large dining hall where members gather for meals, events and special occasions.
The second and third floors are designed to accommodate up to 71 members, providing a mix of private and shared living spaces that foster a sense of home and community. A second-floor outdoor patio with views of Monroe Avenue offers a peaceful place for members to relax or socialize. The basement level includes a large multipurpose room and an arts and crafts space, which also serves as a fully functional storm shelter.
