Thoughtful drainage and resurfacing solutions improve street durability.

Enhancing street safety and longevity, improvements along 30th Street and Jamestown Avenue address drainage challenges and pavement deterioration. Wallace Design Collective provided civil engineering services for pavement rehabilitation on 30th Street between Harvard and Jamestown and Jamestown Avenue between 29th and 31st Streets.

The work included mill and overlay on the main roadway, with concrete section replacements at intersections to restore durability and ride quality. To address standing water – a major factor in pavement deterioration – a new storm sewer was installed along 30th Street, improving drainage and extending the lifespan of the roadway. These upgrades ensure safer, smoother travel for vehicles while supporting the surrounding community’s infrastructure needs.
