Covenant Health is a community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Serving a 25-county region with more than 130 locations and 10 hospitals, it is East Tennessee’s largest health system and one of the area’s largest employers. Guided by its mission to improve quality of life through better health, Covenant Health is recognized nationally for patient care and workplace excellence.
KSi Structural Engineers, now a part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering services for the new 47,300 square foot, single-story healthcare facility. The campus houses a range of services, including Covenant Health Urgent Care, primary and cardiac care, women’s health, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, cardiopulmonary rehab and various specialty practices. The structural design also incorporated planning for future expansions.
