Groendyke Transportation Facility

To support its growing network, Groendyke Transport developed a new Tulsa facility designed for truck maintenance, driver amenities and regional operations.
Groendyke Transport is a privately held, family-owned tank truck carrier founded in 1932 by H.C. Groendyke. Headquartered in Enid, Oklahoma, the company provides transportation services across the United States, Canada and Mexico, hauling a wide range of products including chemicals, fuels and vegetable oils. Recognized as an industry leader in safety, Groendyke has earned multiple national awards for its strong safety record and commitment to protecting both people and the environment.
Wallace Design Collective provided civil engineering services for this 23,200 square foot truck terminal and maintenance facility. The 10-acre site includes extensive concrete paving designed for heavy truck use, with 135 standard spaces, five ADA spaces and 89 truck parking spaces.
The facility features four maintenance bays, office and conference space, a dispatch area and a spacious driver lounge with showers. Site design services included grading, drainage and utility coordination to support the terminal’s operations, along with a DEQ Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SP3). The new terminal strengthens Groendyke’s regional presence and supports efficient movement of goods across the network.
