This organization's mission is to help seniors maintain their independence and dignity.

Meals on Wheels Metro Tulsa is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals, wellness checks and compassionate contact to elderly and disabled homebound individuals in Tulsa and surrounding areas.

Wallace Design Collective provided civil engineering and surveying services for the state-of-the-art facility, which serves as the organization’s headquarters, kitchen and training hub.

The center features a large commercial kitchen equipped with specialized coolers, expanded dry goods storage and ample space to support a growing staff. An 800 square foot walk-in freezer and matching refrigerator anchor the space, complemented by multiple ovens capable of cooking 50 pounds of meat at once, 80-gallon kettles, 40-gallon skillets and shoulder-high stand mixers.

Beyond the kitchen, the facility includes classrooms for training new volunteers, allowing Meals on Wheels to continue to deliver nutritious meals, wellness visits and compassionate contact to seniors, homebound individuals with disabilities and others in need across the Tulsa region.
