Home to the Cowgirls, this stadium blends fan energy, athlete support and OSU pride.

Launched in 1996, the OSU Cowgirl soccer program quickly established itself as one of the leading women’s collegiate programs in the NCAA. Neal Patterson Stadium, the team’s new home, is a striking showcase for college soccer, named in honor of OSU alumnus and Cerner Corporation co-founder Neal Patterson, who also owned MLS’s Sporting Kansas City franchise. Above the players’ entrance, a quote from Patterson’s father, “Plow one last round after sunset,” welcomes athletes and fans. The stadium was dedicated in 2018, with more than 4,100 fans in attendance as the Cowgirls defeated Bedlam rival Oklahoma.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for Patterson Stadium, which features a three-story grandstand with permanent seating for 2,500, press areas, suite and club levels, and a north terrace designed for student fans. Team facilities include locker rooms, meeting areas, kitchen spaces, sports medicine areas and equipment rooms, creating a comprehensive environment to support the Cowgirls’ continued success.
