Oklahoma State University O’Brate Stadium

This state-of-the-art stadium redefines the diamond for players and fans in Stillwater.
O’Brate Stadium, Oklahoma State University’s new baseball park in Stillwater, serves as the home of the OSU Cowboys. Named for OSU alumnus and major benefactor Cecil O’Brate, the stadium replaces the outdated Allie P. Reynolds Stadium and anchors the university’s Athletic Village.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for the facility, which accommodates 3,500 fans and includes upgraded batting areas, locker and training rooms, team offices, a maintenance building and a new practice field. The stadium also offers family-friendly amenities, such as a playground and outfield plaza, while a full concourse encircling the field provides restrooms, concession stands and flexible spaces for food trucks and other events.
The steel structure is clad in brick and cast stone, reflecting the Georgian architectural style of the main campus. Structural highlights include custom frames and braced frames to resist lateral loads, as well as elevated composite steel and concrete slab systems. The new scoreboard is integrated with the adjacent indoor practice facility, enhancing the fan and athlete experience.
