Special Inspections
We're committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public. IBC-mandated special inspections are crucial to doing just that.

When safety and performance can’t be left to chance, special inspections keep projects on solid ground.
Our team serves as the owner’s eyes in the field, verifying that critical structural and life safety elements are built in accordance with approved drawings. From steel and concrete to masonry, wood and fire-resistive materials, we bring a deep bench of certified inspectors and seasoned engineers. With sharp attention to detail, clear documentation and responsive service, we confirm that construction aligns with the approved design.
Inspection Process and Capabilities
Our background qualifications, attention to detail and responsiveness during construction have allowed us to provide superior value to our clients during the inspection process.

Special inspections are part of a quality assurance program on behalf of a building owner to ensure that certain critical structural or life safety design features are incorporated into the construction of the building structure in accordance with the approved drawings.

Wallace Design Collective has performed special inspections, created inspection reports and managed deviation logs for the following types of construction:
- Steel Construction
- Reinforced Concrete Construction
