A thoughtfully designed worship space that celebrates community gathering and historical roots.

Founded in 1837, St. James the Greater Parish has been a cornerstone of the Liberty community for generations, with its congregation outgrowing several churches since its founding. In 2017, the parish once again needed more space and ground was broken for a new church just steps from the previous site.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for the new 24,000 square foot church. The open-concept design accommodates 1,200 worshippers and includes a side chapel, a large narthex for gathering, a floor-level choir and organ loft, and is fully accessible for all parishioners.
