A modern workplace reimagined for its waterfront setting, the Marshside renovation brings new life to a Class A office building within Charleston’s emerging Nowell Creek Village.

Marshside is located on a new waterfront community on Daniel Island in Charleston that blends residential living with public green space, retail destinations and water access through a community dock. Within this growing district, the renovation of Marshside transforms an existing 200,000 square foot Class A office building into a contemporary workplace environment inspired by its coastal surroundings.

KSi Structural Engineers, now part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering services for the renovation. The project enhances the building’s infrastructure to support flexibility, efficiency and tenant comfort while preserving the integrity of the existing structure. Key features include easily configurable floor plates, nine-foot ceilings and move-in-ready office suites designed to accommodate a range of tenants.

Amenities further elevate the tenant experience, including a light-filled, hotel-style atrium, concierge service, a full-service fitness center with locker rooms and showers, a gourmet grab-and-go market, conference center and indoor bike storage. Together, these improvements reposition Marshside as a vibrant, amenity-rich workplace within a connected waterfront community.
