Emerson College’s Los Angeles campus stands as a striking architectural landmark, offering film and performing arts students an immersive learning experience in the heart of the entertainment industry.

Located on Sunset Boulevard, Emerson College Los Angeles is a 10-story, 100,000 square foot facility that serves as a West Coast hub for the college’s renowned internship program and future academic expansion. The environmentally sustainable, LEED Gold certified campus was designed by Morphosis to deliver an integrated, future-focused experience for students and visitors alike. The building features wired classrooms, computer labs, a Dolby Surround 7.1 audio post-production suite, a 4K screening room, mixing suites, a green screen motion capture stage, offices, 217 dormitory beds, parking and an open-air screening and live performance space.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for the building’s signature ZEPPS® wall panels and perforated metal skin systems. These components form a defining element of the bold architectural design, delivering both aesthetic impact and structural performance to one of the most technologically advanced academic buildings in Los Angeles.
