Pivot Tiny Homes and Community Center

Fostering independence and resilience, this tiny home village blends thoughtful design with compassionate support for youth in transition.
Pivot is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young people in challenging situations transition into successful adulthood. They provide housing, life skills training and educational support to disadvantaged teens, offering them a safe environment and the resources necessary to build a brighter future.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering and surveying services for 15 tiny homes and a community center aimed at further supporting teens in need. Each tiny home is complete with a bed, small kitchen, eating area and bathroom, equating to a manageable living space that provides a stable living environment for residents. The community center has a large common space, counseling offices, a laundry facility and a storm shelter for residents to use. It also offers a space for education, mentorship and personal growth.
