Rooted in tradition and designed for growth, St. Mary’s church campus brings worship, community and connection to a new setting in Edmond.

The St. Mary’s Episcopal Church project was the result of a 2016 property agreement between the church and the University of Central Oklahoma. The two organizations agreed to swap land – St. Mary’s three-acre site at 325 E. First Street was exchanged for 23 acres near Broadway and Covell Road. The agreement allowed the church to relocate closer to St. Mary’s School and address long-standing parking challenges. For years, members had relied on nearby lots for Sunday services, including one later purchased by UCO to support shared use.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for the new 17,000 square foot church, located on the 23-acre site. The expanded facility includes a sanctuary with seating for approximately 300 – about 30% larger than the previous building – and features large windows throughout, offering views of the surrounding landscape and creating a light-filled, welcoming environment for worship and community gatherings.
