You Might Not Know:

Growing up in the Chicago area and looking at the spectacular skyline helped inspire him to become a structural engineer. He is also an adept trumpet player with a minor degree in music.

About:

Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering and Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and a licensed Civil Engineer in California.

Matt has been a project engineer on a variety of projects ranging from high-rises down to single-family homes and specialty art and sculpture pieces, in industries including commercial, mixed-use, residential, hospitality, healthcare and light industrial. His experience includes new construction, structural additions and repairs, adaptive reuse projects and structural inspections and feasibility studies.

Matt is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
