Wallace Design Collective

KSi, now part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering for the renovation and expansion of the existing Butts-Mehre Athletic Administration and Fitness Center Building on the UGA campus. The 160,000 square foot expansion includes a one story vertical expansion above the existing facility, and a new facility that includes a multi purpose rooms, a two story office and training area, as well as a portion serving as a one story training area with a plaza roof. 

The building houses the players’ headquarters, including the locker room, the weight room, the sports medicine training room and meeting rooms. In addition, it includes football coaches’ offices and meeting rooms, historical displays for all UGA athletic teams and the administrative offices of the Athletic Association.
