Hapeville Library
Initially, Hapeville Library was to be renovated, but after the structure was investigated and the contractor analyzed the difference between renovating and starting fresh, the cost ended up being only a $16,000 difference. The recommendation was to build new and is a win-win for the city of Hapeville.
What the Fulton County Library System has done with their LEED program on renovation and new construction projects is remarkable. The design partners are honored to have played a part in that developing legacy. LEED Gold is a challenging level of certification to achieve. It requires attention at all levels of design and construction.
