Research Science Center II
Georgia State University

The Science Park Phase II building is a new structure on Georgia State’s (GSU) main campus.

KSi, now part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering services for a new nine-story, 66,000 square foot research laboratory tower located adjacent to the Petit Science Center. The project consists of research laboratories, support space, and a mechanical floor. Developed in several phases, the first phase consists of two finished floors, six shelled floors and a mechanical floor and was designed to work in conjunction with that facility. The shelled floors were designed to accommodate future research programs and requirements. Flexibility of space for future expansion is the emphasis of the design concept.
