Pencil Box

The Pencil Box is an organization dedicated to supplying students and teachers with tools for success. Their new $2.2 million facility near West 25th and Southwest Boulevard in Tulsa gives them the space to serve more schools, teachers, and students in need in Green Country. Wallace Design Collective provided civil engineering services for the new 13,500 square foot building.

The Pencil Box is a non-profit free store for teachers at Tulsa County public schools where 70% or more of the students living at or below the Federal Poverty Level can select supplies specific to the needs of their students and classroom activities. Founded in 2015, The Pencil Box depends solely on the generosity of people, businesses, foundations and organizations. They have given away nearly $5 million in school supplies to students at 50 under-served schools.
