Broken Arrow Public Schools Vanguard Academy of Broken Arrow

Vanguard Academy is a dynamic learning environment where STEM-driven spaces empower students to explore, collaborate and innovate across disciplines.

Located on an 80-acre site, Vanguard Academy is a forward-thinking facility for Broken Arrow Public Schools, designed specifically for next-generation learning across all areas of study, incorporating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) principles. Wallace Design Collective provided civil and structural engineering services for this innovative 50,000 square foot facility.

The state-of-the-art academy features wet and dry labs, a computer lab, studio teaching space, a build shop, an agricultural barn with animal pens, administrative offices and flexible collaboration areas. A production lab serves as both a hands-on learning environment and a hardened storm shelter for student safety. The main building houses administration offices, four 100-person learning communities and a central maker-space/commons area that fosters collaboration and creativity.
