Founded in 1988 on a personalized, patient-centered approach to cancer care, Cancer Treatment Centers of America is dedicated to tailoring a combination of cancer treatments to the needs of each individual patient. From genomic tumor assessments to state-of-the-art technologies and evidence-based supportive therapies that target cancer-related side effects, comprehensive services are delivered by a team of cancer experts, all under one roof. Located northwest of Phoenix in Goodyear, Arizona, Western Regional Medical Center focuses on gastroenterological, gynecologic, hematologic, medical and radiation oncology.
Wallace provided structural engineering services for three-story 140,000 square foot cancer treatment center and five-story 69,000 square foot hotel for visiting patients and their families. We’ve also provided structural engineering services for over 60,000 square feet of expansions to the cancer treatment center – including both horizontal and vertical expansions. The facility includes approximately 50 in-patient rooms, ICU rooms and surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments capable of treating 150 patients per day. Also included is on-site residential accommodations for out-patients and their families.
