Founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world with over 402,000 Initiates, 181 collegiate chapters, and 248 alumnae chapters. Throughout Chi Omega’s long and proud history, the Fraternity has brought its members unequaled opportunities for personal growth and development.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for a new three-story, 26,000 square foot sorority house with a full basement. The first floor includes several living room areas, meeting rooms, study rooms, a large kitchen, and a dining room. Bedrooms for 71 members are found on the second and third floors. A second-floor patio with outdoor seating overlooks Monroe Avenue. The basement has a multipurpose room and an arts and crafts room that doubles as a storm shelter.
