Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll County HOPD & The Jackson Clinic
The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Outpatient Campus represents the future of healthcare. Through its collaboration with Baptist and Rendina Healthcare Real Estate, they successfully integrated cutting-edge medical design with technological and clinical advancements. This initiative resulted in the development of a contemporary medical campus tailored to meet both present and future requirements for accessible, high-quality outpatient surgical care.
KSi, now part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering services for the new 150,000 square foot medical campus. The new, two-story building houses a hospital outpatient surgery department (HOPD) for Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll County as well as replacement facilities for The Jackson Clinic, including physician’s office clinics, outpatient diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, pharmacy, lab, infusion, audiology, and physical therapy. The new outpatient surgery department includes audiology, cardiac testing, infusion, ophthalmology, physical therapy, women’s imaging and retail pharmacy services. Surgery services include cardiology; ear, nose and throat; general; OB-GYN; plastic; podiatry; and urology for patients as young as two years old. The design took into consideration the potential future need for additional growth and contains a second-floor expansion zone for horizontal growth.
