Dollar Fresh is one of several alternative store formats for Hy-Vee grocery stores. These scaled-down options are a way to bring Hy-Vee into communities where a full-size grocery store doesn’t make sense.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for prototype development, site adaptation of prototype documents, and modification of existing facilities for takeovers and investigations. The stores range in size from 25,000 to 30,000 square feet. Other services included retaining wall design, foundation design, site planning and due diligence.
