Located in a formerly industrial area in Atlanta, the Memorial Drive corridor has seen a recent explosion in growth with the extension of the Beltline’s Eastside Trail and the addition of the 17-acre Madison Yards mixed-use development and the new 982 Memorial Apartments. 

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for 982 Memorial Apartments. The design consists of a four-, five-, and six-story multifamily construction, gently stepping down into the mostly single-family neighborhood of Reynoldstown. 

The new multifamily apartments are designed in such a way that the complex slowly steps down as it approaches the single-family residences in the nearby Reynoldstown neighborhood. The multistory complex features 205 units with amenities which include a business center, fitness room, clubhouse, 1,600 square feet of retail space and precast parking deck.
