Northside Hospital Forsyth continues to expand and add services to meet the ever-growing health care needs of Forsyth County and its surrounding communities.

KSi, now part of Wallace Design Collective, provided structural engineering services for Northside Hospital Forsyth’s 46,000 square foot vertical tower expansion. The project consisted of two new concrete floors on the existing hospital tower with additional elevator and stair penthouses. The two new floors add 43 additional patient rooms and associated support spaces for the hospital’s medical/surgical short-term stay department and women’s services. The project also included enclosing the roof and converting the space into a mid-tower mechanical floor which was carefully coordinated to limit disruptions to existing patient rooms.
