Oasis Fresh Market
Named for it’s location within a food desert, Oasis Fresh Market will benefit primarily low- and moderate-income families. The new grocery store is the first full-service grocery store for the area since 2007.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for 16,450 square foot grocery store with associated parking and utilities. The new market offers meat, produce, and dairy departments, as well as a demonstration kitchen, a multipurpose room and a walk-in beer and wine cooler. Beyond providing groceries, the market will also have an education curriculum to offer community classes in cooking and healthy living.
The location was thoughtfully chosen to be in a central location for the community and adjacent to a popular transit stop.
