Peaceful Animal Adoption Shelter
The Peaceful Animal Adoption Shelter is a public, non-profit organization created to assist in finding permanent, loving homes for rescued animals. Founded in 2012, the no-kill shelter is designed to manage stray and unwanted animals, improve the health of their community and educate people of the importance of preventing unwanted and stray pet populations from increasing.
PAAS Vinita houses approximately 48 dogs and 64 cats, and offers a variety of services related to the intake, care, and processing of abandoned, stray, and unwanted pets. They provide a place for education on proper pet care, medical and veterinary treatment, small animal resources, and offer a place where people who want to make a difference can volunteer.
