Rosewood Elementary School
Broken Arrow Public Schools

Since its formation in 1904, Broken Arrow Public Schools has become a dynamic leader in public education. The district serves more than 19,000 students in the urban-suburban community, with nearby agricultural areas and growing business and industrial bases. Due to rising enrollment, a new elementary school was needed to serve the southwest portion of the district.

Wallace provided civil engineering services for the new elementary school. The 80,000 square foot elementary school is be located on 40 acres. The elementary school accommodates approximately 600 students in kindergarten through fifth grade and includes 28 classrooms, a media center, art and music classrooms, a full-size gymnasium and a tornado safe room.

In addition, the school site contains a cistern and wind turbine in an effort to start introducing students to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
