The Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation and Creativity
AVB Bank and the Brown-Kimbrough family have always been advocates for the arts, education and economic development of Broken Arrow. So, when, almost a decade ago, the idea of a creative arts center arose, AVB was at the forefront of development of what has now been designated as the Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation and Creativity.
Wallace Design Collective provided structural and civil engineering services for the future creative arts center. The center is a 15,500 square foot facility located on the former site of AVB Bank. The two-story building provides space for artists with multiple classrooms, flex space, gallery space, workspace for painting, culinary arts, and indoor/outdoor areas to host events. The Brown-Kimbrough family, owners of AVB Bank, donated the property to the City in 2020.
