USA BMX National Headquarters and Arena

Founded in 1977, the American Bicycle Association (ABA) is the world’s largest BMX racing organization, with over 70,000 members racing at more than 320 sanctioned tracks across North America. United States operations are conducted under the brand USA BMX.

Wallace provided structural and civil engineering services for USA BMX’s new headquarters. The facility includes the USA BMX Headquarters building, USA BMX’s National Hall of Fame, and the Hardesty National Track Stadium – a 110,000 square foot outdoor covered arena with 2,000 seats. A 300-space parking lot is also included as part of the project.

The Hall of Fame’s first floor includes two classrooms for youth STEAM programs, a museum/events center and a pro shop. Hardesty National BMX Stadium includes bleacher seating for 2,000 people with spacious plaza area on the west side of the track with vendors selling food, equipment and other items.
