In 2001, Scott lived in Malawi, Africa, working for a year with Church of Central Africa Presbyterian where his engineering experience included determining dead load for thatch roofing and constructing a gravity-fed water system.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Oklahoma and 13 other states.
Scott has experience in design and contract documents for site development projects, which include grading plans, utilities, sanitary sewers, detention/drainage, roads and parking lots. He also has experience in bridge inspections and repair.
Scott is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Committee, Urban Land Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for Wallace Design Collective.
