Darren was a linebacker on the Oklahoma State University football team.
Darren received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, Connecticut, and Kansas.
Darren’s work experience consists of site development for both the public and private sector, drainage and stormwater management systems, water treatment facility design, utility relocations, and providing contract administration and construction observation. He has also been responsible for projects involving utility corridors, right-of-ways and surveying. His project experience includes residential, retail, hospitality, commercial, sports and recreation, educational and health facilities.
He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Water Works Association, National Fire Protection Association, Tulsa Regional Chamber and Leadership Tulsa Class 60. Darren is a current board member and the former president of Union Schools Education Foundation, former chair of Tulsa City Council Infrastructure Development Advisory Board, past board member of Tulsa YMCA and former trustee of Tulsa Stadium Trust.
