As of February 2023, Bennett Surveying of Chouteau, OK will be offering their professional land surveying services as a member of Wallace Design Collective! 

Owned by brothers Wade and Wes Bennett, Bennett Surveying has a strong history with Wallace. Prior to founding the company with his brother in 2004, Wade worked at Wallace from 2000-2004 as a professional surveyor, drafter, and construction inspector. Since then, Bennett Surveying and Wallace have routinely crossed paths while collaborating on local projects.

The latest construction boom has created a high demand for surveying. As a result, both Wallace and Bennett were experiencing somewhat complimentary challenges, which made teaming up an attractive option. Although Wallace’s surveying branch has grown steadily since 2019, the sudden increase in demand stretched staff. But with the current labor shortage and competitive AEC hiring environment, recruiting enough trained surveying professionals was shaping up to be a difficult task. Meanwhile, Bennett was facing a similar issue. However, besides needing more technical depth, after 18 years of running a company, Wade and Wes were also ready to seek out some overhead support. With the influx of work, tedious administrative duties were increasingly cutting into time that could be spent doing more valuable tasks.

Bennett and Wallace’s partnership creates instant wins all around: Wallace welcomes a solid team of experienced surveying professionals, while Bennett’s team gains access to an infrastructure that allows them to take on more work and keep their focus on what they do best: providing quality surveying.
