Joined Wallace Design Collective in 2022
I get up in the morning with the goal of adding value to any team or project. I do this by looking for opportunities to improve a design or process and by providing solutions to challenges which arise in the course of any project. Joining Wallace Design Collective will allow me and KSi to better serve our clients, peers, network partners, and community with a stronger firm, providing more services, with broader expertise, and experience to apply to any project.

Kurt received his Bachelor of Engineering Summa Cum Laude with honors in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, his Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Georgia and a licensed Professional Engineer in 24 other states.
Kurt has over 30 years of structural design and project management experience. He is active on national industry committees and has published or presented more than 40 manuscripts, papers or articles on the local, national and international level. His work on committees and in practice has included issues related to publication of industry specifications to be used in building codes, communication and negotiations with building officials in various communities, proposals for rules and legislative changes related to structural engineering in the state of Georgia.
Kurt is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia (SEAOG), American Concrete Institute, and the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE).
